Tip #3- Maintain proper food portioning

Being careful with your portions is vital to avoiding weight gain. In will make you avoid eating unhealthy food. Eat smaller portions of foods during parties and events. Go for vegetables and eat a small portion of lean meats. Consume 100 grams of meat such as lean beef or chicken meat.

Drinking water before you eat is a great way to reduce your appetite during meals. Drinking water before you eat can help you deal with initial hunger right after you start eating. It suppresses your appetite without adding calories. This means that you will less likely to eat foods when you are hydrated. It flushes toxins and it also helps with digestion and avoiding dehydration from salty foods.

If you are hosting a party you can make your meal. Prepare a separate meal for you to avoid consuming too many calories. Avoid eating deep-fried foods or those that contain too many ingredients.
